This website is devoted to the pursuit of knowledge about theatre. It’s for everyone who makes
theatre, from writers to actors to directors to the person running the follow spot, and everyone in
between. It’s for amateurs and professionals, students and teachers, and even audiences. It is for
anyone who has to courage to honestly admit that they still have something to learn when it
comes to theatre and stagecraft.

The site is broken down into the broad topics of theatre: acting, directing, design, etc. Each link
will take you to the current list of articles for that topic. New content will be added to the site on
a regular basis and showcased on the blog, so be sure to check back often for new updates.

Each article on this site illustrates some concept, skill or other aspect of live theatre. Much of this
is or should be general knowledge, though I will cite resources when required, and will always
provide you with sources of further information, should you wish to pursue it.
